For many years the Yarram Social Dance Club used to meet and dance on Sunday nights in the Regent Theatre at Yarram. On Easter Sunday the Hall was not available so the dances were transferred to the Woodside Hall (18 kms from Yarram).
Following the closing of the dance club, a few of the past members and visiting dancers decided to hold a reunion dance at the Woodside Hall. Some of the visitors realising the size of the area around the hall decided to bring their Caravans and stay the night. This Tea dance has progressed to a two day event with several vans and motor-homes staying for 3 or 4 nights.
